Black & White Landscape

A black & white image has a timelessness and a power that a color photograph can never truly capture. These monochromatic images allow the shadows and the light to play a role of utmost importance. For me, black & white images stir the soul more than any other. These images are from the Sierra Nevadas, the Teton Mountain Range, the Escalante Wilderness, Glacier National Park and the Great Smokies. -JH
